My vision for Sunrise Side Home Inspections is to provide high quality, detailed and professional services to home buyers across the communities in which I have lived and worked.  Our service area includes where I was raised in Bridgeport, MI and where I have lived in the communities of Linden, Brighton and East Tawas.  I have owned three new construction homes and purchased two existing homes.  I have completely remodeled kitchens, bathrooms and basements performing much of the work myself.  I have also designed and built decks and brick paver patios.

My grandfather was a builder. 

My father was a builder. 

I grew up wanting to emulate these men and also be a builder.  Following high school graduation in 1983, I joined the United States Navy.  In 1989 I started my 28 year professional career centered around installation, service, project management and leadership of technical professionals.  I have worked extensively with various contractors and construction site managers to ensure projects were completed on time and to specification.  This demanded that I was well versed in several areas including general carpentry, concrete and foundation systems and electrical design.

In 2005 I completed by Bachelor's of Business Administration at Northwood University going to school while working full time.  My wife and I have raised our family in Michigan over the last 30 years.  We are a true divided house with one University of Michigan graduate and another at Michigan State University.
